Thankful for the love and concern

Since Tuesday afternoon, I had been having a very bad headache followed by a bad throat which hurt every time I swallowed my saliva. It was later established that I also had fever the same night and Hubby insisted that I take leave on the next day to recuperate. I did but the fever still not go away despite me taking panadol tablets. I even had a bout of vomiting yesterday evening.

Last night, Hubby brought me to see his family doctor who gave me two jabs and antibiotics to "kill the germs" causing pus at the back of my throat.

As I was still feeling very sick yesterday, poor Hubby had to single-handedly feed my little puff, bathe her, entertain her and coax her to sleep last night. Thank you so much dear Hubby for your love and sacrifice.

Oh! Look at how much she has grown!

My little baby is growing up to be a little fine lady!

I realised that my little baby has grown and matured a lot over the course of a few months as I look through her photos taken when she was younger.

I am thankful that my daughter has achieved another milestone in life today (first poop on a potty) and that my daughter is so lovely and cheeky (just like me).

Come tomorrow and I'll be spending a good one whole week with her as I'll be on leave. Wheee!

While my baby is sleeping....

While my baby is sleeping, she has slowly grown up to be a little girl! The day that I've been yearning for years ago is now here and I am very happy to be playing and enjoying her presence, as much as she is enjoying my presence.

We can now talk to each other, make-pretend, have imaginary teas with her teddy bears, create different jewelleries and accessories from play doh and do the things that I had loved to do as a child. I love my daughter and I love spending time playing and reading to her.

I am thankful that my daughter listens to me and obeys me which makes life a lot easier. But only if she also does the same to my hubby.

Two weeks of love

I am very privileged to be able to spend two consecutive weeks at night with my daughter before she goes to sleep. It's a joy to watch her rest her in her sweet slumber every night.

Audrey's Third Day in School

I am glad that Audrey likes and enjoys going to school and I am thankful for having this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the joys of a child's first few days of school as a first-time parent.

Although Audrey is still not used to the new school environment, I really hope and pray that she will adapt quickly and learn to love her teachers and classmates.

First day of school

I am thankful to be given the opportunity to experience the first day of school with little Audrey. I wouldn't trade this opportunity for anything else.
